I am currently Head of department at a very successful grammar school in Kent. I have been teaching 23 years, initially in Sports science, but I made the switch full to business and economics 10 years ago. As well as being Head of department I have also been an associate examiner in economics for the edexcel exam board.
I have been tutoring for 13 years in both business and economics. I have a great deal of experience in tutoring both GCSE and A Level business, and economics. At present I teach the edexcel specification but I am also very familiar with OCR and AQA. I have also have some experience in tutoring IB and iGCSE
I am very flexible and will adapt to suit the needs of the student. I firmly believe in the extensive use of exam questions to enhance retention and understanding of the core topics. I encourage the use of real life examples so the student can link theory to reality with ease.
