Jakub

My name is Jakub, and I am a graduate from the Unviersity of Reading, having studied Business Management and Entrepreneurship during my 3 years at University.

My goal is to help students develop their skills and understanding of Business and Economics, as well as the relevant elements of Psychology, as the three go hand in hand in business much more than expected.

Tutoring Experience

I have previously helped other classmates while at school and university, as well as tutoring several A-Level Business students in the past year.

Tutoring Approach

I’ve realised that the most common challenge for students is to use the theory explored and see how it relates to a real world example. This means that analysis is often weaker, therefore limiting the grades that can be achieved.

My three-step approach tests whether:
1. The student knows the theory
2. Whether they can implement it by putting it into a real life scenario
3. What are the repercussions of the theory / the example at hand

This means that we can develop analytical / critical thinking skills, and implement them in further analysis.
