I am a Mathematics student at the University of Birmingham with a strong passion for maths and the sciences. I thoroughly enjoy teaching and helping others expand their knowledge.
I completed a three-week internship at a secondary school, where I assisted in lessons and planned and delivered maths lessons for GCSE students. Additionally, I have experience in one-to-one teaching through interventions during my internship and private tuition jobs.
My teaching approach is centred around fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of the subject matter. I believe in creating an engaging and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring concepts. I like to use a variety of teaching methods, including interactive activities, real-world applications, and personalised feedback, to cater to different learning styles. Additionally, I find that providing clear and relatable examples helps students grasp complex ideas more effectively. I also focus on simplifying concepts so students can build a solid foundation before tackling more advanced topics. My goal is to inspire students to develop their critical thinking skills and a lifelong love for learning.
