I was born and raised in the Netherlands - but with a Chinese background. This has allowed me to get the best from two worlds. I speak both Chinese (both Mandarin and Cantonese) and Dutch at a native level. I speak English and French fluent as well.
I completed my Masters in Science in Contemporary Chinese Studies at University of Oxford. Prior to this, I obtained a first class degree in Bachelors of Arts in Politics, International Relations and Philosophy at Royal Holloway, University of London.
I started teaching when I was at high school for secondary school students and kept doing this until I finished university. Additionally, I have acted as an interpreter multiple times for professional usages.
I will first listen to your needs and understand the areas you would like to develop further in-depth. Then, I will lay out a strategic plan of action tailored to your needs. Please bear in mind that a plan of action is a rough guideline of the steps we are taking - it can always (and will most likely be) changed according to the progress we are making.
I am a very open-minded person - always open for feedback and changes if you want to do things differently. Nevertheless, I am very structured and organised in my teaching as I believe that this is one of the key elements to achieve the goals we have set.
