I am a second-year university student studying BA (Hons) English and Media and Communications. I love English Literature, and would love to extend this passion on to others!
I am an avid reader who has read over 300 books in my life.
I completed my English Literature GCSE when I was 15 and received a 7 (A).
I teach year 7-11s.

Tutoring Experience

I have no formal teaching experience, which is why I offer my first session for free, so that we can see if your child benefits from my teaching methods!

Tutoring Approach

Before anything else, I would like to get to know the student during our first free session, where I can get to know them and see what areas they are struggling in.
Then, I would break our subsequent sessions down into different parts. How I break down these sessions will depend on what your child needs. One example of a session break down is as follows: first, I would help them improve their analytical skills through different texts depending on their interests and second, help them apply those analytical skills to the text they are studying at school.
