I have been involved in Music all my life - performing and teaching the Flute and Recorders . I enjoy Jazz Flute Improvisation Baroque Renaissance and Contemporary Recorders. I also enjoy participating in Folk Groups and Solo Performing at Weddings.
I have studied at University and taught to A level within schools around South West of England.
I have taught both privately and within Secondary Schools across Devon Cornwall and Somerset for over 20 years the Flute Recorders and Classical Guitar.
I have taught from Primary to Sixth Form covering the National Curriculum Exam Boards A Level Music BTEC Music GCSE Music and ABRSM Exams.
With regards Business Studies - I have a self employed business and have taught BTEC A Level Business Studies across Devon and Cornwall.
I aim to have a flexible progressive expressive and fun teaching approach within music. With the aim that it is a student centred approach happy to teach beginners upwards to grade 8 on the Flute. Happy to teach one to one or in a group. Not only performance skills but if required theoretical practice.
