I am currently a Space Systems Engineer, I have a BSc Physics and an MSc Space Engineering degree from the University of Surrey. I have over 7 years of tutoring and teaching experience and have worked with students of various ages and abilities. I have a huge passion for helping students to work hard and achieve the top grades they deserve. Just some extra time on a subject outside the classroom has proven to be hugely successful in boosting grades and paying off in the long run.
I have taught Physics and Mathematics from KS3 to A level and have tutored many students from other tuition platforms. During my final year at University I completed a 'Physics in Education' module where I taught year 10s in Charterhouse School, Godalming. I also did a summer placement (2019) in George Abbot School, where I was based in the science department and had the opportunity to plan and deliver my own lessons. For my A levels, I studied Chemistry, Physics, Maths and Economics for AS and A2.
I am keen to spread my knowledge and enthusiasm through my teaching methods. I aim to identify my students' strengths and weaknesses and prepare for lessons accordingly, making them enjoyable and engaging. I have received highly positive feedback from each student of mine and am hoping to continue this trend by ensuring each student is happy and receives the personalised support they require. I am familiar with new specifications and know exactly what the examiners are looking for.
