Hugh has taught my daughter GCSE Latin for the past 2 years and she has learnt a lot from him, His experience, knowledge and kindness are commendable and she is very lucky to have had Hugh as her Latin tutor. I would recommend him unreservedly

I like to have latin lesson with him. My Latin improve very fast.

We wanted to provide feedback for Hugh. My son enjoyed his Latin lessons. Hugh was enthusiastic, funny, extremely knowledgable. Exactly what is required for Latin! My son did very well but unfortunately decided not to continue with GCSE Latin. We were disappointed as we then had to stop our lovely Latin tutor thereafter.

He is so nice, my daughter likes him very much, and learned a lot.

My daughter has just completed her first 4 lessons of Latin with Hugh and she is absolutely loves them.
The fact that they are done via video link makes my life so much easier as I can fit it around the other two children, plus it is one less journey to make.
We would definitely recommend Hugh.

Hugh has had a first lesson with our son. It was a session to find my son's level in Latin.Hugh had sent us a free book which had 51 pages.
Can you believe that they went through those 51 pages at lightening speed? He fired questions at my son and It was like a session of University Challenge. He used a competitive method that worked so well with my son and had 10 minutes left to chat with him about his athletics and to also revise some history.
My wife and I were spellbound. We were hiding in the same room because it was a Skype lesson.
We intend to keep Hugh for a very long time!

Very pleased with Hugh's teaching. Helps my son to think about the broader implications of the topics they are covering.
