Hongxu

Hi, I am Hongxu. I graduated from the University of Reading studying PGCE mathematics for secondary school. I also have another two masters degree in economics. The one I have from Reading University focuses on econometrics which is strongly related to maths. I used to teach maths for graduate students in China.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching maths in a comprehensive school for almost three years. Currently I teach maths from Year 7 to Year 11. I am very familiar with the content of GCSE and have different teaching methods for students with different levels. I am good at teaching exam skills. I am very patient and friendly. I have experience supporting students with learning difficulties and students who struggled with maths and they feel maths is not their subject. I feel very successful if my students can learn new things from me. I have a good track record of helping students to improve and I will work with them to set personal goals and make progress. I am very punctual and reliable. I am committed my development as a private tutor.
