I am currently teaching Maths to GCSE, A Levels and IB in a very successful Independent school in South of England. I have a patient personality and enjoy making Maths come alive so that it is more accessible to all students. I have been teaching maths for last 13 years in both state and independent schools and believe that every one can achieve best results if right help is provided.
I have been teaching Mathematics upto and including Oxbridge entrance for 13 years. I have also been teaching International Baccalaureate Diploma Maths for 13 years. I am a Mathematics examiner for GCSE, A LEVEL and IB which enables me to help students according to their individual examination needs. All students I taught in the past achieved A* to B grades in their GCSE and A Level and IB exams.
I use a combination of teaching methods including one to one discussion, visual reinforcement and diagnostic tests. At GCSE and A Level the emphasis is improving students’ examination technique and ability to solve challenging problems. This is achieved through making independent practice easy, enabling students to develop independent skills to solve unseen examination questions they are likely to encounter in the actual exam and develop required examination technique to be able to do that.
