I have an M. Phil in English from the University of Glasgow and I am continuing my research on Shakespeare. Publications include 'India and the Golden Age in A Midsummer Night's Dream', in Shakespeare Survey 65 (Cambridge, 2012), and 'The Merchant of Venice, III.II.99', in Notes and Queries Vol. 61 (Oxford, 2014).
I have been an English tutor since the 1990s and have tutored at all levels, from Primary School to SQA National 5/ GCSE, Higher and Advanced Higher/ A-level, to University level and international students for the IELTS exams.

I am especially familiar with the main poetry study guides, including "War and Conflict", "Love and Relationships" and "Unseen Poetry" (AQA).
