I am an empathetic and relaxed teacher who is able to adapt my lessons to what best suits you. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach and understand that everyone learns differently and for different reasons. I'm committed to finding what works for my students, even if this can seem unconventional at first!
I've been teaching English as a foreign language on-and-off since 2015 in London, Newcastle and now Scotland and have helped dozens of students improve their reading, writing and speaking abilities and grow in confidence. I have a BA Hons in English Literature and Film Studies and a Premier TEFL/ TESOL certificate.
I have always taught English in a one-to-one setting and believe that this is the optimal situation for learning a language. From my own experience of learning a foreign language, a group class just doesn't cut it sometimes. I take pride in adapting my lessons and approach to each individual student to find out not only specific areas in which they want/ need to improve but giving them the time and undivided attention they need to really absorb what they're learning and be able to put it into practice straight away.
