I have been fascinated by languages since I was seven! I started learning French when I was nine and my other languages followed. I spent two delightful years in Austria where I worked in childcare and taught English for the Chamber of Commerce. I love travelling abroad, ensuring that I keep my modern languages fresh. I have a wide variety of interests, including dance, sewing and other crafts.

Tutoring Experience

I have twenty years classroom experience in a secondary comprehensive school and ten years tutoring experience. I have taught all ages from pre-school to retired people. I run groups for home educated children as well as tutoring young people taking GCSE language exams.

Tutoring Approach

I try to create a safe learning environment where everybody is treated as an individual. I adapt my approach and resources to the needs of the person in front of me. I have a spacious learning environment where I have a wealth of resources to enable me to provide the teaching that will enable each person to make progress.
