I am passionate about Education and the impact it can have on anyone's life. English and drama have always played an important role in my life: reading and going to the theatre are what I enjoy doing most.
I have been in Education since 2000 when I started as a Secondary English teacher. I am a GCSE examiner for English Language GCSE and have also marked the SATs and A'Level English Literature. Since leaving teaching I have been a partner of my own Education consultancy where I plan and frequently deliver bespoke English workshops for small groups and classes. In addition I provide 1:1 tuition for adults studying Functional Skills English and Maths from entry Level through to Level 2. I am very familiar with the different exam boards at GCSE English language and literature level
I believe that the most important aspect of teaching or tutoring is the relationship I develop with individuals. I recognise that there isn't a one size fits all - I tailor my approach to suit the needs of the individual.
