Hello! I'm an enthusiastic primary teacher with experience guiding students through Scotland's Curriculum for Excellence, from Early to Third Level. I've had the pleasure of supporting learners of various abilities, including those with Special Educational Needs, ensuring that each student receives the personalised attention they deserve.
Outside of tutoring, I enjoy staying active through fitness and expressing my creativity in musical theatre. These passions not only keep me energized but also inspire me to bring a dynamic and spirited approach to my teaching.
I'm excited to embark on this learning journey with you and help you achieve your academic goals!
Throughout my teaching career, I've had the privilege of educating students from the early years up to Primary 7, covering the Early, First, Second, and Third Levels of Scotland's Curriculum for Excellence.
Currently, as a Primary 7 teacher, I focus on preparing my students for a smooth transition to high school. This involves equipping them with the necessary academic skills and fostering the confidence and adaptability they'll need to thrive in their future educational journeys.
My teaching philosophy centers on creating engaging and interactive lessons, often incorporating technology to make learning both fun and effective. I believe in challenging my students appropriately and tailoring my approach to suit their individual learning styles, helping them reach their full potential. I am committed to fostering a nurturing learning environment where students feel safe, supported, and motivated to explore new concepts. By building strong, respectful relationships and promoting a culture of trust, I aim to boost students' confidence and encourage a love for learning.
