I cannot recommend Harry enough as a tutor. His first objective is to understand who he is tutoring and then he tailors his approach accordingly. If you have a child capable of an A star and who will work, he will get the result. Having said that, Harry will care just as much about encouraging a less confident student. He is a gem.

Harry was very supportive to my son in preparation for A levels. He helped my son gain confidence in exam preparation. He is an inspiring tutor and would highly recommend him for anyone taking A level History.

Harry is a great tutor. He tutored A English and philosophy. He was good at stretching her and making her think hard, Harry is not there just doing a lesson, he is there to really try to get the best out his tutee, which is greatly appreciated by us. Would highly recommend Harry!

Harry is passionate about teaching, and will always try to find a way to get the subject matter across, often going above and beyond. He’s open minded, and happy to hear differing points of view, but everything he says is backed up by learning as opposed to a ‘it’s this way because I say it’s this way’ approach! A very intelligent and likeable chap… won’t be going anywhere else!

Harry's been homeschooling me for philosophy and English a level, he's the best tutor I've had and his lessons are very rigorous and informative!

Harry was specifically invaluable in his understanding of the requirements of my Religious Studies course, including how to cover all required learning content and answering every type of exam question. He supplemented the course with a depth and variety of philosophical and Christian concepts that were as fascinating as they were useful. He also provided thoughtful and sincere advice on life during A Levels, including cultivating a good work ethic and coping with stress. He was able to quickly adapt his teaching to anything I asked for; after the cancellation of exams due to coronavirus, we adopted a new study plan that explored certain areas in greater detail, using close reading techniques that helped me prepare for University study. I recommend him to anyone.

I was struggling with certain parts of the Politics A Level course and Harry helped me turn this around. With a combination of face to face and online lessons over a 3 month period, we sped through sections of the course with depth and precision that I greatly needed in order to help achieve the grades I had the potential to reach. Helping me perfect the craft of essay writing and hone in on the topics I found difficult, I would not hesitate to recommend Harry to any student wishing to do the same. He makes lessons enjoyable and yet very thorough and has boosted my grades dramatically even in the little time as my tutor.

Harry has been teaching my son English for the past few weeks. I feel his commitment as a tutor excellent, but more than that, he genuinely wants my son to succeed.

Harry is a fantastic tutor - he is incredibly bright and makes history relevant, interesting and fun. Harry is clearly an expert in his field and he uses his expertise alongside engaging teaching methods. He has quickly come to understand the requirements of my daughter and what is needed to improve her level. He also incorporates the student's wishes as well as guiding the student towards successful learning and application. I would definitely recommend Harry to other GCSE students.

Harry has been a great help in my English GCSE, creating interesting, enjoyable lessons, as well as making helping me to understand difficult literature like Dickens' 'Hard Times.' I had been off school for a while, and was planning to delay my exams for a year, however have been able to catch back up with Harry's assistance. It's been great fun working with Harry, and I would thoroughly recommend his exceptional teaching skills.

Has really helped my general understanding of politics. I can see that I am making improvements in every lesson.

Harry taught me both A level Religious studies and A level Philosophy and was a fantastic tutor. Although he only taught me for my last two terms of college the improvement I made academically because of his teaching was astounding. He pushed me to read beyond the course and taught me a new method of taking notes and remembering key terms which made me much more prepared going into my exams. He has a real passion for the subjects he teaches which is clear through his lessons which were not only useful but engaging and interesting. He adapts his teaching style depending on what you need help with and always makes himself available for help even when not in lessons. Harry made me push myself academically which caused my grades and confidence to grow throughout my lessons.

Harry was teaching my son for A level history. Harry has an amazing knowledge in history and knows very well how to teach every student.
He is very punctual and accurate with his notes. Always well prepared with lots off notes. My son really enjoyed working with Harry. I will highly recommend him as a tutor!

Harry tutored me in A Level Government and Politics. He has great subject knowledge, pushed me to read beyond the course and taught me a new method of note-taking which made me much more confident going into my exams. He adapts his teaching style to suit the way you learn best and helped me to diagnose and address weak points in my essay style.

My daughter Pia, who is doing her Politics A'level at the moment sourced Harry feeling she needed that extra boost of confidence that 1:1 tutoring can bring. Harry has been a great success. Available seemingly at all hours and even for 3 hour stretches, Skype tutorials and giving a last minute confidence boost by telephone on the morning of her exam. Pia tells me that as well as making the sessions extremely useful they have been interesting and engaging, which I think is quite an achievement after 3 hours of talking Politics! He has been worth every penny and I shall be calling him next year when my son does his GCSE's! Thank you. Louise

Harry is currently my son’s tutor. He is helping him to boost his confidence with English and to get prepared for his GCSE.
Harry is very reliable and always sharp on time.
What I particularly appreciate is his ability to adapt his teaching to my son’s needs and to my requests as well. He’s very well balanced between being professional yet friendly enough to engage a teenager.
