I teach singing in a variety of modern styles, Pop, Rock, Folk, Jazz, Musical Theatre. From beginners to professionals. For fun and with the students choice of song through to Rockschool/ TrinityRocks Graded exams, audition pieces and help in a recording studio setting. I can also help with GCSE/A-level Music theory support, song-writing skills and piano chord basics.
Tutoring Experience
I have 15 years experience as a singing teacher and as a singer. Teaching in schools, High Education and recording studios.
After trained classically, I moved on to contemporary music styles, continuing lessons with Jazz, Pop And Music Theatre experts and performing regularly myself, singing backing vocals and writing songs.
Tutoring Approach
My aim is to help students find their natural singing voice, develop their musicality and explore the styles that they enjoy.
My teaching space includes piano, microphone and PA, a sneeze screen, space for 2 metre social distancing and is well ventilated.
