Hello! I’m Hannah and I live and breathe everything to do with France and francophone culture. I am currently a french teacher and teach up to A-level.
My passion is teaching, helping others to communicate by providing clear examples and resources to enable them to achieve their very best.
Whether you’re currently studying French at school and need some one to one support, or whether you’re wanting to learn some basic French- I'm the person just for you.
I moved to France when I was 10 years old for 3 years which enabled me to become fully fluent in french. I always knew I wanted to go back to France, hence me moving to Paris for 3 years to complete my french studies degree. I am now a qualified French teacher at a local secondary school and have been teaching for four years now. I have experience in teaching at primary school, secondary school and A-level.
My recent results from my previous Y11 students were outstanding, making it very clear I know what is expected to help them pass their french GCSE.
Listening, reading, writing and speaking are the key 4 skill areas. This is something we would tackle in each session. I like to use PowerPoints to have clear words/images on display. I also like to make learning a language super fun and exciting. I like to include lots of games and activities to help with retrieval practice, along with exam papers and mini speaking assessments ( if desired)
