I am a creative, enthusiastic person with a passion for learning. I am constantly expanding my knowledge base in a multitude of genres, because I love learning! And as a teacher, I strive to inspire my students with that passion. I enjoy being able to travel within my work, exposing myself to new challenges regularly.
If I am in the country/a location near to you, face to face classes can be organised, but it may then affect the price. I try to keep my prices low but fair, to both myself and my students because I believe everyone should have access to education in any subject area they choose.
I have taught both in traditional classroom settings, and in 'edutainment' style workshops. Most recently I have completed a year of teaching English Language in a school in Thailand. Previously having worked in Poland, and Italy, as well as the UK, instructing students as young as 3, up to elderly casual learners, in both one-to-one classes, and groups, including business sessions.
My music tuition experience has been largely individuals, with the occasional choir of all ages, and also individuals via online lessons.
My approach to teaching any subject is to make the material fun, and engaging - edutainment! If a student can enjoy the material, by way of a game, or a challenge, they learn without trying, and they gain the confidence in their abilities to use their skills. Whilst accuracy is important, I believe instilling students with the self-belief to use their skills is more of a lasting base to build from; this is what I aim for in my lessons.
