I am a graduate flautist from Trinity Laban Conservatoire, having previously studied at the Purcell School of Music my musical knowledge is vast. I am available to teach flute, piano, music theory/aural and voice. I am an enthusiastic teacher, very good with children with the aim to make lessons fun and educational. It is never too late to start learning so if you’re thinking of starting give me a message! I am able to support with academic music support as well as 1-1 lessons.
I have taught music privately for around four years to a variety of ages and abilities whilst studying my undergraduate music degree at Trinity Laban Conservatoire. I have been involved in projects in schools providing outreach work for children including workshops and performances around Europe also having the privilege to work with ‘Street Orchestra Live’ and ‘Commonwealth Resounds’. I was also the coordinator of the roundabout music programme held at Blackheath conservatoire throughout 2021. I was a graduate Music Teacher at Downe House School in 2022-2023 in which I taught music theory 1-1, led ensembles and provided advice and further learning sessions for music scholars.
I am flexible with my teaching approach with different styles of music and believe it is up to the individual whether they want to complete grades or just learn for fun. I will give practice schedules and really encourage my students to succeed recommending them for opportunities too!
