My name is Grace and I currently teach Year 2 and 3. I live in Nantwich with my partner and our dog, Millie. I love seeing children gain new knowledge and get to grips with something they have been struggling with. I am passionate about finding the most suitable learning style for each individual. I firmly believe that children flourish when they feel at ease and confident and always strive to create this environment through humour, varied activities and getting to know the individual.
I have been working at my current school since 2020. Prior to this I worked at a school in Cheshire West where I completed my teacher training. I have experience in KS1 and KS2 so can offer support across the curriculum for all primary ages.
Before teaching I worked as a teaching assistant at a high school. I worked with children who had numerous barriers to learning and supported them using a range of approaches which best suited their needs.
Every child is an individual. I take the time to assess where each child is working at before creating individualised sessions to fill any gaps or boost confidence with particular concepts. I enjoy creating fun games and activities to ensure the knowledge sticks.
