Home Tuition for Maths and Chemistry in Maryland

Hi there! I'm Gigi and I’m excited about the chance to help students reach their academic potential. I graduated with a Chemistry degree from UCL and am currently wrapping up my Master's in Climate Change at King's College London. I've always loved science and how it helps us understand the world around us, and I can't wait to share that passion with my students.

Tutoring Experience

I've been tutoring for over 4 years now, focusing on Chemistry and Maths at A Levels, and Additional Maths at GCSE level. I’ve had the pleasure of working with students from both international and local schools in Hong Kong and Malaysia. It’s been amazing to see most of my students achieve A*s and As. I also had the opportunity to intern at LVMH, one of the biggest luxury brands out there, which was a fantastic experience that really helped me develop my organizational and communication skills.

Tutoring Approach

I focus on making sure students truly understand the material, not just memorize it. I start by breaking down the theory so it makes sense, then move on to practice problems and real-world examples. I also emphasize exam techniques, helping students tackle different types of questions and manage their time effectively. My main goal is to help students achieve A*s and As by making learning engaging and ensuring they are fully prepared for exams. I'm here to support and guide my students every step of the way, ensuring they feel confident and excited about their studies.
