Bonjour! ¡Hola! Ciao!
I hold a First BA (Honours) Language Studies degree in French and Spanish from The Open University and my mother tongue is Italian. I constantly practice these languages with my French, Spanish and Italian friends and family. Moreover being a cabin crew, my job gives me the opportunity to be often in contact with people and visit places where these languages are spoken. I have been resident in the UK for twenty years.

I used to work in tourism and travelling has always been one of my favourite hobbies. I worked on cruise ships as a shore excursion manager for a few years and I also spent some time living abroad mainly in the Middle East.

Tutoring Experience

I have recently started tutoring students, I am really satisfied with the outcomes. It is really rewarding noticing an improved ability in their use of the language they are learning.

Tutoring Approach

I feel very enthusiastic about coaching students and I would like to offer one-to-one private tuition. I will integrate the material supplied by the students with my resources in order to help them achieve their unique potential. I believe that every person is special therefore different approaches to teaching have to be considered. As well as customising my lessons according to the requirements of the student, I will also try to make them enjoyable and interactive. I think it’s crucial to provide my pupils with a solid understanding of the main rules of grammar, which enables them to acquire the confidence they need in learning a foreign language. Ultimately I would like to offer my students my support so that they can overcome their weaknesses and encourage them to develop a passion for new languages and culture.
