My approach to teaching revolves around making biology come alive through interactive lessons and real-world applications. I tailor my teaching to suit individual learning styles, ensuring that every student feels supported and engaged.

Tutoring Experience

I have been working in the biological field and training people globally for several years and more recently, I have been a member of the science department in a well respected school in Nottinghamshire, where I have provided high quality teaching and support to hundreds of students from the age of 11 through to 18.

I specialise in GCSE Biology and have moved many students from places of struggle to a position of understanding and excellence.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching is adaptive, and is styled to the individual. I am a collaborative teacher, where the enjoyment of the subject is as important as the understanding. Without the buy-in of the student then the learning is far harder.
I hope I instil enthusiasm using real world and personal experience across the curriculum to give life to what the student may see as "boring science".
