Hi, My Name is Gemma and I am 30 years old. I am a fully Qualifed Teacher and I live in Milton Keynes with my husband. I am friendly and approachable and have been involved in the education sector since I was 16 years old.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching for almost 5 years however my journey in education began when I was 16 yeard old when I worked part time in a Pre School alongside my school studies. I have 4 years of classroom experience in Key Stage 1 and have beene tutoring students for almost a year now of all primary ages. I have strong knowledge of phonics and the national curriculum. I have understand the progression of skills needed within subject to help your child succeed in their learning.

Tutoring Approach

I enjoy a practical approach to teaching. I like to bring learning to life as much as I can in order to help children succeed. In my eyes there is nothing more rewarding than watching a childs face light up when they finally understand something they may have been struggling with. I can adapt my teaching to the child and how they learnt best and work with parents/guardians in a professional manner to ensure their childs needs are met.
