I mainly tutor from home, where I have a room set up with whiteboards and a small bookshop worth of resources. My two aims are to help you achieve your full potential, and just as importantly, to enjoy doing it. I’ve been told my enthusiasm for these subjects is infectious and I provide appropriate context, rather than simply learning ‘parrot style’. Something my students value.

Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring friends and family for 9 years. Recently I have set up my own tutiton business after being recommended and finding myself with a number of other students! I was fully booked within a month, however due to demand I have now opened up some more slots, both evening and morning times.

Tutoring Approach

I have an informal and relaxed approach to teaching. From home, I have a room set up, complete with whiteboards, numerous textbooks and probably a rainforest worth of learning resources. (Although molymod kits remain a firm favourite of mine).
I teach to the curriculums, however always endeavour to provide context to the material I am teaching, which solidifies understanding (rather than learning ‘parrot style’).

My aim is to help my students achieve their full potential, whilst also enjoying the learning experience. I understand these subjects can be difficult and on occasion, dare I say, boring! However, I have been told by many students, I make them interesting and fun to learn, which I put down to my passion in these subjects translating into my lessons.
