I grew up in the UK, where I achieved the grade A in all 4 of my A-levels: Maths, French, Physics and Biology. I then went to study Physics at a university in Switzerland and finished my degree part time while working for an education charity in Bristol. I'm well-trained in both exam skills and efficient, thorough learning methods.

Tutoring Experience

I have been a tutor for the last 5 years, including teaching maths in French when I was in Switzerland. There, I even taught piano to the father of one of my maths students. My students can choose to have their lessons in English or in French as I am capable in both. I worked at a summer camp in Switzerland for three years as an English teacher, animator and counselor for the children, so I understand the important relationship between learning and having fun, and I've never had a problem keeping those who come to me for help motivated and interested. In my current role at the charity I teach pupils, train tutors, mark papers and keep up to date on the requirements for different GCSE exam boards and on foundation vs higher papers.

Tutoring Approach

I am convinced that anyone can make great progress in these subjects, that there are so many ways to explain the concepts and one of them will always 'click'. I'm passionate about understanding people's different learning styles and finding the best way to share my experience and knowledge with every individual. All it requires is some good-quality time spent exploring the subject.
