I am a University of Oxford admissions tutor. I mark Oxford and Imperial College's MAT (Maths Admissions Test), design the interview questions and interview the candidates applying to read mathematics at Oxford.
As an admissions tutor, I am in a unique position to know exactly what knowledge A-level maths students should have when applying to university and how to get them to that stage. For more than seven years I have been tutoring students from all abilities and academic levels (KS2, 11+, 13+, GCSE, IGCSE, A-level Maths and Further Maths, International Baccalaureate Standard and Higher Level as well as university degrees) to achieve their very best.
I also specialise in entrance to independent schools (Eton, Winchester, Magdalen College School, Westminster, Rugby and others). I prepare students all the way from the pre-test stage, tutoring them in maths, numerical and non-verbal reasoning, through to scholarship examinations (like the KS and the Challenge).
Whether you are applying to university and need to meet an entry offer, or whether you are just getting started with maths, I can guide you through this challenging process and help you achieve your best exam performance.
My qualifications include a first-class honours BSc degree in Mathematics from the University of London, an MSc degree in Mathematics from Imperial College and I am completing my DPhil (PhD) in Mathematics at the University of Oxford.
In addition to face-to-face tuition, I have an HD document camera that I use to teach online lessons to people overseas. So even if you are not based in Oxford, I would be happy to have you as my student.
