I am an experienced and patient tutor with a passion for teaching English. I care about nurturing, encouraging and inspiring my pupils with their English studies and am a firm believer that every student has the potential to succeed.
Alongside 1-2-1 sessions, I run English and creative writing workshops online and in schools through my business, the Untold Stories Academy. My mission is to inspire readers and writers of all ages through stories. Literature and language shape all aspects of my career. I am a published author of three young adult fantasy novels and I also work as a writing mentor, editor, publishing co-director and content writer.

Tutoring Experience

I specialise in English literature and creative writing but also teach English language and entrance exams. I have five years (2000+ hours) experience working with students aged seven and upwards (including adult learners) from the UK and all over the world. I trained as a Montessori tutor but have taught a wide range of curriculums and exam boards.

Tutoring Approach

All my lessons are conducted in a stress-free environment where pupils are allowed to ask questions and make mistakes. As a trained Montessori tutor, I take a creative approach, teaching students to love English whilst still fulfilling curriculum objectives and ensuring grade targets are successfully met.
