I am a driven and dedicated recent graduate from the University of Cambridge with six years of experience tutoring students to achieve their academic goals. With a strong background in both STEM subjects and social sciences ranging from primary to University level, and a commitment to personalised learning, I strive to make education engaging in order to make it effective.
I have six years of experience tutoring students from primary to University level in a wide range of subjects from Maths to English, from Physics to Politics. This reflects my own expertise which are just as broad. Specifically, I have a First Class Bachelors Degree from the University of Cambridge in Human, Social, and Political Sciences. I have three A Levels in Mathematics (A*), English (A*), and Government and Politics (A*), as well as an EPQ in History and Politics (A*). I hold nine GCSEs, eight of which are graded A**'s (Grade 9) - Biology, Chemistry, English Language, English Literature, Geography, Mathematics, Physical Education, and Physics. And one of which is an A* (Grade 8) - French.
Having only recently graduated I am familiar with the specific curriculums required by school and Universities, as well as the best educational tools and approaches to maximise students grades and improve their overall confidence with challenging concepts. I currently work in a preschool which means I have daily experience with teaching children and several qualifications such as two related to safeguarding children.
I strive to maximise each student's individual potential by understanding their unique way of learning. My approach is centred on:
Tailoring lessons to individual needs, strengths, and learning styles.
Using interactive and creative methods to make concepts clear and memorable.
Encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Providing a supportive, patient, and motivating environment to help students succeed academically and build confidence.
