I have just completed my mathematics bachelor from University of York with first class honours. I have got a 9 on my maths GCSE and an A* in my maths A level.
Since completing my degree I have started a job in finance and tutor maths on the weekends.

Tutoring Experience

I have always tutored fellow students or years below since I was doing my A levels and love seeing how much students can improve and how a change in mindset and a couple of hours goes a long way.

Tutoring Approach

For my lessons I like to have the first lesson as quite unstructured so I can gain some understanding about where the student is. Going forward once I know which topics they need more focusing on, I focus on two main topics per lesson.
In the past I have also helped students which prefer to just have me help them on questions either from class or past papers, I am happy to proceed with this approach if it is what the student prefers.
