I am passionate, outgoing, patient and an enthusiastic individual. I can not imagine other job which is more rewarding than teaching or tutoring. It is a great feeling to be a part of pupils achievements, focusing on each students specific requirements, tackling those aspects in which students struggle in, in order to make a more positive impact on them and their progress.

Tutoring Experience

I have been working as a Teacher of Maths over 10 years, either in schools or tutoring (in person/online) I cover any KS3/KS4 topic, helping students to enjoy,feel confident, challenging them, throughout a wide variety of tools and resources. I am also a Form tutor of a Year 11 class which I thoroughly enjoy.

Tutoring Approach

I find exciting being able to share my knowledge with students who need support after school in order to reinforce and improve their learning skills. My lessons are based on prior knowledge, theory, practical examples which are applied to real mathematical problems, as well as home work in order to consolidate what they have been working on, under an enjoyable and proactive approach where students receive accurate feedback to build on their own knowledge in a relaxing learning environment.
