Hello, my name is Fei. I am a passionate and dedicated educator with a strong background in teaching. With 10+ years of various experience in the field, I have had the privilege of working with students of various age groups and academic levels.

I am excited about the opportunity to contribute my skills and knowledge as a tutor, making a positive impact on the academic journey of my students. I am committed to helping them overcome challenges, achieve their goals, and develop the necessary skills to thrive academically and beyond.

Tutoring Experience

I had teaching experience in various fields.

While I was doing my Ph.D in Actuarial Maths, I was teaching undergraduates statistics.

In the past few years, I was coaching my daughters in their 11+ exams. My elder daughter passed her 11+ exams and went to a local grammar school successfully. I am now coaching my daughter in her GCSE maths exam. I am also happy to extend my coaching to maths at a higher level.

While I was working as a qualified actuary, I was coaching junior analysts in their actuarial exams and studies.

Also, Chinese (Mandarin) is my first language. Happy to teach Chinese.

My teaching philosophy revolves around creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated and inspired to reach their full potential. I believe in tailoring my teaching methods to suit individual learning styles, ensuring that each student receives the attention and support they need to succeed.
