I am a University of Warwick Graduate, where I studied Biological Sciences, followed by doing a PGCE in Mathematics. I am a strong believer in supporting the youth through education to allow them to reach their full potential. Through me experiences as a PGCE teacher, I have gained an understanding of key areas student struggle in, and I am dedicated to create an environment where yourself or your child will not only improve academically, but will also enjoy learning.
I tutored for many years throughout secondary school, sixth form, and for a small time during my Undergraduate degree. I followed this by undergoing a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at the University of Warwick (one of the best unis in the country). During my PGCE, I was able to spend a year teaching at 2 different schools in the Coventry area. This has allowed me to fully develop my teaching approach.
I'm a big believer in tailoring my approach, different students have different levels of understanding. I work with students to understand their current levels, and create a learning development plan to bridge their learning gap, or in some cases stretch their learning to allow them to achieve their academic and career aspirations. If you are a parent, I want to work closely with you to help identify ways in which we can both support your child. Learning should be fun !
