My daughter was in the midst of her GCSE exams & had already sat Maths paper 1. She is a very smart girl who excels in most subjects.
Maths however has always been a struggle for her. Although I have always felt that she was very capable her lack of confidence & dare I say dislike for the subject has been a huge stumbling block and one that previous tutors unfortunately had not helped her navigate around.

I asked Evan if he was able to provide some last minute emergency revision sessions before Papers 2 & 3 & he was more than happy to accommodate in between his already busy tutoring schedule.

His evident enthusiasm for the subject, his unique teaching style, his patience & the fact that he’s a genuinely lovely, personable man was so refreshing to witness & definitely had a positive impact on my daughter.

We are yet to get her results but for the first time she came out of a maths exam with a smile on her face, exuding quiet confidence.

Regardless of whether these sessions have added valuable points to her predicted grades (& I’m completely sure they have) I cannot thank Evan enough for how he made my daughter feel about the subject & her ability to master it.

Im generally not one for leaving reviews of any kind but felt I had to take the time in this case. If you are trying to find an excellent Maths tutor I cannot recommend Evan highly enough!
