Eva is an excellent teacher. and accommodates my personal preferences brilliantly. She encourages me to work hard and stretch myself whilst also recognising the demands of other aspects of life. Eva is sympathetic to the way I learn and the combination of structured, directed learning with some scope for a little creativity works well for me. Eva's tips for strengthening skills outside the lessons are also very useful and the insights she provides into Greek (and Cretan) language and culture are invaluable. Marilyn, is a pleasure to work with. She is the ideal learner, very dedicated to studying Greek regularly every week and very committed to making progress.
We are working together on her needs and very often she takes initiatives as to the kind of homework she would like to do in order for her to happily play with the Greek language. I am always happy to facilitate her needs as fas as I believe her study suggestions will contribute to her progress.
I am really looking forward to seeing her progressing more and more and establishing a long and trusty tutor-tutee relationship.

I have spent more than a year having one hour weekly remote tutoring from Eva. I was not a complete beginner but my path until then had been a mixture of going to classes and trying it on my own, and I was rather stuck. Eva was excellent at unstucking me. She systematically took me -gently- through what I thought I knew and what I definitely did not know. We covered all aspects of grammar and engaged in conversations about our interests and daily pursues, while trying to use as much of the vocabulary and grammar that I could remember.
Eva is not only a systematic teacher, but also very pleasant and an interesting person to talk to. I fully recommend her if you are trying to keep some order in your learning.

Eva is an excellent tutor who has quickly identified my weaknesses and has tailored the lessons to focus on the areas where I need most help. I have a busy schedule and she is flexible in scheduling lessons a times which suit me.

Eva's approach to teaching us is both structured and flexible, following her method of introducing us to grammar and written and spoken Greek whilst incorporating our own ideas for learning.
