I hold both a BA Hons and an MA from Cambridge University in History. I also hold an MA from UCL in Public Policy (Politics and Philosophy). At A level, I achieved 4 A* in History, English Literature, Philosophy and th Extended Project Qualification, attaining 100% in 6 modules.
I am a professional, full time academic tutor and application mentor with over five years experience in the industry. I work with leading education consultancies, supporting students at all levels of their education, from pre-GCSE to undergraduate.

Accordingly, I place emphasis on dissecting and analysing marking criteria during sessions to ensure my students have a strong understanding of examiners expectations. With these foundations put in place, I am able to ensure that the work we complete on syllabus content and essay technique is fully utilised.
Alongside offering strategic revision techniques and personalised learning plans, I focus on equipping students with core skills for long-term success. Firstly, I seek to build students personal confidence and belief in their ability. Secondly, I focus on cultivating soft skills in order to ensure students are able to communicate their academic ideas effectively. For highly ambitious students, I also offer sessions on critical-thinking and academic research skills which take them beyond the school curriculum. Finally, I ensure that my pupils have mastery over time-management through offering sessions dedicated to scheduling and organisation.
