I am a qualified primary school teacher with a QTS and a PGCE and have taught from Reception to Year 6. I currently work part time at a primary school in Essex.
I look forward to meeting anyone who wants, or needs, to improve any of their English or maths skills for their job, school or for their personal life.

Tutoring Experience

Since 2020, I have been teaching and tutoring Primary school children in maths and English. They have chosen the sessions to either be at their homes on or at my house depending on their preference.
Also, I have been EFL tutoring for over 20 years, to both adults and children, in the various countries that I have worked.
No matter what the subject or your age, I feel it is important that learning is enjoyable as it boosts confidence and makes the content more memorable.

Tutoring Approach

For me, fun and engaging activities are important for learning to be a really positive experience.
I’m happy to meet and discuss which areas you would like to practice and improve; be it times tables, fractions, geometry in maths or English spelling, writing and grammar, for example.
