I am an experienced teacher of English who also has experience of tutoring students for the 11+. I am passionate, dedicated and patient, and I care deeply about children receiving a solid education. I am a strong believer that our education system is flawed and does not benefit all students.
I want a better education for ALL students.
I hold a Masters degree in English Literature, law degree and a PGCE.

Tutoring Experience

I am a qualified Secondary teacher in both English and Citizenship. I have taught in both Kent and Medway for the last 4 years and have also been a GCSE and SATs examiner during these years.

Tutoring Approach

My sessions aim to steer away from the typical classroom feel so that learning can become interactive and enjoyable. With tailored tasks, I aim to make learning enjoyable so that even reluctant learners come away feeling a sense of achievement.
Learning is not a one size fits all experience and this mantra is reflected in my practice.
