Emily

I am a first year psychology student studying at the University of Warwick. I have worked with children on many occasions, from running children events, to taking care of groups of childrens at day events, from this experience I gained confidence in organising activities and the importance of being dependable and trustworthy. I am polite and eager to learn and teach, I have a passion for psychology and am an eager student in my degree. I am patient and can keep calm in high pressure environments. I am flexible with work hours and am enthusiastic to help others find their passion for psychology.

Tutoring Experience

I have volunteered at events where I was in charge of teaching and taking care of groups of children. I have also been a private maths tutor to two 8 year old girls.

Tutoring Approach

I create an engaging, encouraging and supportive environment for my students. I believe in making sure they are challenged, but also that my teaching is tailored to suit their academic needs, in order to maintain motivation.
