Hi, I'm Emily! I was born in the Scottish Borders and I'm a classically-trained soprano. I hold Bachelor of Music with Honours and Master of Music degrees from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Throughout my time at the Conservatoire, I specialised in Kodály Musicianship and Methodology, studying with Lucinda Geoghegan, Andrew Nunn and Anne Murphy. I also studied with various Kodály specialists whilst in Hungary and the Netherlands. Upon graduation, I completed practical Kodály tutor training with Naheed Cruickshank (BAHons, GSMD) in Glasgow schools. Throughout my time as a music educator, I have taught students of all ages and stages, both in a classroom setting and in my own private studio.
