I completed my doctorate in English Literature at the University of Oxford in early 2017. Since then I have been working as a postdoctoral researcher and continuing to focus on the intersection between literature, theology, and philosophy. I'm passionate about reading and writing, and spend most of my spare time doing one or the other. I also love going for long walks, swimming, learning Arabic, and spending time with my friends and family.
I have been a private tutor since graduating from the University of Cambridge fifteen years ago. I have also designed and taught courses in creative writing and French.
Please contact me directly if you are searching for a tutor but finding prices expensive; I will do what I can to help.
I love the dynamic of tutoring, because I prize working one-to-one. I find that tutees benefit enormously from a deep and thorough engagement with their thinking and their writing, especially with subjects as imaginative and creative as literature, theology, and philosophy. It's very important to me that the tutee build independent ability: an objective that always underlies my approach.
