PRICES AND BOOKINGS:
• Individual lessons (online): £55p/h
• Individual lessons (face-to-face): £60p/h
• Paired lessons (2 students - face-to-face only): £100p/h (£50p/h each)
• Referral Offer: 30 minutes free teaching for every client/student you refer to me.
• Please note, prices differ on Saturdays - please see 'terms of service' below.
• Sessions are taught on a minimum of a weekly basis

PLEASE NOTE - TERMS OF SERVICE:
• Lessons are booked in blocks of six and paid in advance. Payment shall be made by bank transfer on or before the same day as the first lesson taught in each six-week cycle
• Teaching sessions run from Mondays-Fridays: afternoons and evenings. Saturday sessions also available (online only) for a £5 p/h additional fee (£60p/h total)
• All face-to-face rates are quoted as within a 3 mile travel proximity of Muswell Hill
• For any location between 3-5 miles, there is an additional £5 travel fee
• Students can also elect to be taught face-to-face in pairs (Weekdays: £100 p/h total - £50 p/h each)
• Online lessons are fully interactive and run via video call and G**gle docs: simple set up
• Sessions are taught on a minimum of a weekly basis
• 48hr cancellation policy: cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the lesson shall be charged at the full rate

Tutoring Experience

A career in teaching English deeply appeals to my personality and values. The study of the English Language is vital to the development of comprehensive skills that will benefit students throughout the course of their lives, whether it be in terms of their employability, their ability to communicate and connect with peers and wider society or indeed succeed in their further studies.
With an outstanding background and over seven years experience as a professional Teacher of English and leader in Literacy for a wide range of abilities and needs across all key stages in two of the top non-selective schools in the UK, I have both a deep understanding of the subject and a wealth of experience in inspiring and engaging students. I am also an experienced practitioner in small, group tailored learning, one-to-one tuition and mentoring support. I specialise in creative writing including fiction, non-fiction and poetry, facilitating students in reaching award-winning standards and becoming published young writers.
