I am currently studying for a degree in Theology and Religion at the University of Oxford, going into my second year. I have a passion for reading, writing, literature, and philosophy. I thoroughly enjoy connecting with students and helping them to love a subject that may seem initially challenging. My passion for the subjects that I tutor in has lead me to want to go into teaching.

Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring GCSE level English Literature, Language, and Religious Studies for around 2 years. Having taken my exams fairly recently as well as still being in the education system, I have a deep and current understanding of how public examinations work and how best to prepare for them.

Tutoring Approach

To achieve high grades in English and Religious Studies, I believe an all rounded approach is the most helpful to enable student to truly stand out to examiners. After setting up the foundation with my students, we begin to explore around the subject itself to add uniqueness and depth of understanding to their answers. I believe this not only produces excellent results but can be catered to a student's particular interests to help the subject be a little more enjoyable and individual.
