I'm a sixth form student in Cambridge, studying Latin, Ancient Greek, Ancient History and History. I would like to convey my recent GCSE experience to others going through the same thing; I achieved eleven grade 9s at GCSE, along with an A* in further maths so I understand fully the ins and outs of the GCSE process. I have the use of good resources and relevant knowledge, as well as being more relatable to GCSE students - sometimes learning can seem much less daunting when it's being taught by someone who understnads you! I am happy to work around any difficulties of special circumstances - just get in touch.

Tutoring Experience

I have tutored science to a year 5 student for a year in 2019. More recently, I have tutored GCSE maths, GCSE Chemistry, Physics and Biology, and GCSE English.
I also have been involved with the teaching of Latin to younger pupils at my school.

Tutoring Approach

I have very recent experience of GCSEs, and I understand the importance of aligning tutoring around both the course and the individual. As well as helping with understanding, I can show you through the 'hoops' GCSE can sometimes require you to jump through which is invaluable to raising your grade. I like to base my sessions very much off what the pupil finds more challenging, and welcome questions and requests for focus on topics. Nevertheless, I am also happy to teach the course from the basics in a more methodical way if this is what feels more suitable.
