I have 12 years teaching experience in secondary school teaching all year groups. I have taught both the Maths Edexcel and OCR GCSE specifications; both Foundation and Higher.

I have tutored a combination of online and face to face tutoring for 10 years and have tutored the main exam boards; Edexcel, OCR and AQA.

Tutoring Approach

I focus on students gaining confidence and achieving success early on. Students want to feel successful and so I break down concepts into smaller steps with teacher modelling being the focus before students work through further examples with me and then finally ensure students can complete steps independently. I include lots of past paper exam questions in my teaching and share my knowledge of being an examiner to help students gain the maximum number of marks.
