Experienced tutor for Highers, A Levels, Nat 5, GCSE, IB. Emphasis on critical thinking and understanding to apply learning.
I finished high school with the International Baccalaureate in Switzerland, for which I scored 41/45. I continued my education in London and have moved to Glasgow since completing my undergraduate degree. I love to impart my knowledge and learning approaches onto other aspiring learners. As a neurodivergent individual, I try to adapt my teaching style to the needs of the student. I welcome neurodiversity as such. Now working towards a Mathematics degree, I am resuming tutoring.
I have been tutoring since I was 13 and helping friends after school. Since then I have worked for various tutoring companies. I have received many positive reviews, especially for Biology, Mathematics, and Psychology tutoring. I have also taught Chemistry, French, and English though.
Learning should focus on understanding, not memorisation. I create a laid-back environment where I enhance learning through understanding, using analogies.
