Hello! I am available to provide private and group tutoring. I specialise with primary aged children however am available to assist secondary children also. I am a passionate, caring person who enjoys working with children and supporting them to be the best they can be. I am a qualified teacher and have been teaching for six years. I am flexible and happy to meet your needs within reason.

Tutoring Experience

I have been working in Education since I was 17 years old as I come from a family of teachers! Before attending university, I volunteered in primary schools as a teaching assistant until I qualified. I then secured a class teacher role where I worked in Year 4 for two years and Year 3 for four years. I also have experience working one-to-one with children with additional needs from years 1-6.

Tutoring Approach

I am very calm and patient with all types of children. I like to adapt my teaching style to the needs of the child and try my best to explain difficult concepts in ways children can understand and benefit from. Learning can sometimes be stressful for children, so I always try to make lessons engaging and worthwhile.
