Eleanor

I am a young, energetic graduate who has a passion for teaching. As part of my university degree, I spent a year abroad living in Russia. This experience really opened my eyes to a new and exciting culture and living environment. During this year, I was teaching English to a wide range of age and ability of Russian students. I also have a keen interesting in cooking and going to the gym.

Tutoring Experience

As part of my university degree, from Sep 2013-June 2014 I undertook a work-study placement in Volgograd, Russia. As a TEFL-qualified English teacher, my job was to ensure that every lesson encouraged the students to communicate with each other using the structures and vocabulary they have learnt, and to improve the four basic language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. I taught young children with a very basic level of English all the way up to advanced adults.
