Eddie is an amazing tutor who has helped me achieve amazing results for my GCSE Biology in Year10. Eddie manages to make lessons interesting and engaging and has sparked up my interest for the subject. Through his help, I was able to find an enjoyment for Biology which made developing my knowledge for the subject more enjoyable and easy. Edward, is an excellent tutor. He helps my daughter with her A-level Biology. He is incredibly thorough and enthusiastic with his teaching, always checking back to make sure that she understands the topic they are covering.

Also he is an engaging tutor that has significantly supported her organize the wealth of information and make sense of content where needed most.

He is reliable and approachable and brings the best out of my daughter. Really delighted I found him and has had direct positive impact on my daughter`s grades.

Eddie is an exceptional teacher. He is very concise, making difficult topics easy to understand, which in turn makes it easier to memorise the challenging and extensive content of A-level Biology. He is thorough, ensuring that no gaps in knowledge or understanding remain due to his deep comprehension of the subject. My son really enjoyed learning from him and particularly appreciated Eddie's encouraging and relaxed demeanour, which greatly helped ease his nervousness and anxieties. I would highly recommend Eddie to anyone facing the daunting task of studying A-level Biology.

After my son lost confidence and interest in A level Biology (near to the completion of his final exams), we searched for a tutor who would help restore his confidence and find innovative ways to test his knowledge and focus on key areas of known development. He met with different tutors who had the necessary technical knowledge but did not inspire him. Eddie however was incredible from Day 1. My son was completely engaged and looked forward to his tuition; keeping in mind that Biology was his least favourite subject. Eddie was enthusiastic about his subject, and this came through in his teaching. He kept up the pace and was able to quickly assess the areas that required more focus. It really helps that Eddie is also a Teacher, he understands the marking scheme and is not just drawing upon his own exam experience, more that he understands what the examination boards are looking for too. A huge thank you to Eddie for stepping in at a very late, critical point, it made such a significant difference.

Edward is an amazing tutor, very knowledgeable and kind. My daughter was struggling with biology and wanted to achieve a higher grade in her GCSEs. She has really enjoyed every single session with Edward and even said that she started to like the subject a bit more now that some of the concepts were much clearer to her. Needless to say, she has done incredibly well in her biology exam and is expected to achieve a 9. She was a bit sad that the tutoring has come to and end but very happy about her huge improvement. Thank you Eddie for your commitment and passion for teaching, this has made all the difference.

My son wanted to write this review ftom his perspective “ Eddie has really helped me to improve my grades in my recent Biology mock A level exam , with an improvement of 20 marks in my second Biology paper. This is completely due to my tuition with Eddie. He is very helpful in sending you the work that you’ve gone through together, which enables me to annotate it further to underpin my understanding.
Eddie has been really good for building my confidence and not making me feel that a partial answer is incorrect or inadequate.
He knows his subject really well and makes it very easy to understand by putting it across in a way that’s simple and uncomplicated.”

August 2023 - I would highly recommend Edward as a tutor. Edward has taught our son since quite early on in his lower Sixth year and the understanding he generated from their weekly lessons has been brilliant. He is flexible and accommodating and sparked an interest in Biology that was very much needed.

Working with Ed has been fantastic for our daughter over this past year. He is knowledgeable and patient. I can’t recommend him enough for anyone wanting to improve their A-Level Biology.

I would not hesitate to recommend Edward. He has worked with my son and not only hugely improved his exam performance but also generated a genuine interest in the subject. It has been so amazing to see the change! It was important to me that Edward is a current teacher because the subject has moved on quite a bit and he was able to focus on the requirements of the exam board. Edward is reliable, efficient - generating a lesson plan in the first couple of weeks based on my son's particular needs - and flexible. I was provided with regular updates and he answered any questions I had.
From subject matter to exam technique, if you are looking for a tutor to help the biology student in your life, you won't find anyone better!

Eddie tutored my daughter through her A level biology. His ability to connect alongside his gift of explaining complex material, making it more easily understood, has been critical in giving her a ‘can do’ attitude in biology. Eddie is extremely reliable and his current knowledge of exam content and technique has been invaluable to my daughters progress. Highly recommend.

Eddie taught my daughter through a significant period of her illness and was kind, considerate and very flexible, in addition to being an excellent biology tutor. Having missed three years of school, with little access to a regular education, my daughter achieved a B grade equivalent, having weekly sessions with Eddie over only a six month period. He essentially condensed two years worth of GCSE biology into approx 25-30 hours. His lessons are engaging and he built a fantastic rapport with my daughter. I wish I had found him earlier- it would have saved me an enormous amount of stress. I highly recommend him.

Eddie is an excellent tutor. My son really enjoys their sessions, always looks forward to them and has started enjoying biology a lot more. Eddie is a great tutor, his sessions are really interesting and engaging. Eddie is a great tutor, he has helped me through my AS level Biology and currently through my A-level. He explains everything really clearly and breaks topics down so that they are much easier to understand. Eddie is an incredibly intelligent, friendly and enthusiastic individual, who is very understanding. Eddie’s tutoring approach is something that all tutors/teachers should adopt. He is able to break down complex topics into their main concepts, thoroughly explain concepts in depth and make synoptic links throughout the course.This has enabled me to gain a holistic understanding of the subject enabling me to apply my knowledge both to exam questions and life, and really being able to understand the content, something that I was unable to do so at school! Furthermore Eddie always makes sure that I understand the concept of the topic, and goes beyond the specification (but always sticking to the main concepts of the topics and that the specification requires for my exams) and applies knowledge to everyday life, by using such examples to emphasise the importance of the concepts. In conclusion Eddie is very polite, friendly and knowledgable, it is clear that he is very passionate about the subject and has provided upmost support and has significantly increased my confidence in the subject. What makes Eddie different from other tutors and teachers is, his teaching approach, knowledge and that Eddie truly wants the best! Eddie has been a very reliable tutor for my daughter for her A 'level Biology Exam to be taken in June this year. He is very professional and well informed in his subject area. He has a lot of patience and is able to explain topics in a simple format. He is very knowledgeable on exam specifications and it has helped to identify what my daughter needs to focus on for her A'level exam. Overall I am very happy with Eddie and I look forward to him continuing over the next few months to give my daughter more confidence and help her to achieve the results she requires for University.

Edward is lovely, polite and punctual. Unfortunately, my son finds him not engaging when he teaches. My son didn't benefit out of the an hour and a half lesson. His teaching method didn't suit my son. There was no connection.
